Mind Over Maddy (MC)

I came across an article  talking about how Instagram average time spent is rising while Facebook is declining. The popularity among facebook is facing competition as young social media users are attracted towards Instagram and Snapchat. I think this has to do with the Instagram craze and the younger generations being addicted to Snapchat. I still use Facebook daily but my posts consists mostly of pictures for my family and family friends to see, my biggest fans are my parents' friends lol! For younger people, the attention isn't going to come from Facebook, it's going to come from Instagram or Snapchat. 

In class we had to make a webpage. I learned some things from it. 1. I'm not that great at it and needed a lot of assistance 2. It's actually not that hard to make a website. 3. Its cool to be able to search my website on the internet I think having to do this in class was a challenge that I liked, it taught me that there's more to the media world than I thought and it made me have a new level of respect for website creators, I could never do it so power to the people that do!

There is an unspoken competition between users of Spotify and Apple Music. I use Apple Music. I don't care for Spotify and my Spotify friends love to hate on me. They think they rule the music world and that they have more of a wider selection than I do. I don't know if thats true or not, but I won't ever leave Apple Music. I pay $4.99 on a student membership account. I love my choices for songs and I think Apple Music is super easy to navigate but there is still a lot of hype for Spotify. There's a gap in the media world over this, a battle over which is better. I found this article  where the writer, Peter Hall broke down the differences between the two platforms. He ended his debate saying that Spotify won. His article is pretty interesting and his breakdown was clever.
